brb, Magic time.

Saturday, 6. February 2010

I had a busy week at college, and am joining four Magic the Gathering: Worldwake launch party sessions this weekend. So yeah, I’ll be hanging out with bros for the weekend. New releases to come once I’m back from the short hiatus.

In the mean time, have a cute translated H-manga that I totally didn’t work on (but it’s cute, nonetheless, and everyone should at least have gander at it).

If your talking about the moon runes then I see where your coming from, other then that, both look the same to me.
Have fun at those launch parties!

  2. Zorbius Says:

Moar like PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME

  3. Sanorith Says:

Best card in Worldwake – Terra Eternal. I want ten of them.

  4. Shake Says:

Both sets look….exactly the same, only that one deck has moon runes on it.

Desu, you truly are the epitome of a weeaboo

  5. Phy Says:

    lol, desudesu0 you’re such a nerd.

  6. Wandering Milkman Says:

I remember that Cat Head Imako doujin. Fucking hot as hell.

  7. 7eAL Says:

Forget what they say about weeabooness.
There is a perfectly reasonable explanation. It’s probably because the text is uniform on the Japanese cards where it is not the case on the English ones. Every kana and kanji is nicely contained within a given space, and these spaces form a grid. Every roman letter however, has its own width, height, and line weight. Even horizontal lines of text are disrupted by tall letters, capitalizations and hanging tails, so no organized appearance is possible at all.
(I am only comfortable using fixed-weight fonts like Arial, and monotype fonts like Courier, and neither is as aesthetically satisfying as the fixed-weight fixed-width characters in Japanese typesets.)

i thought this was translated before?

  10. desudesu Says:

    Sanorith: >best card in Worldwake
    >Terra Eternal
    >best

    (ಠ_ಠ)

  11. Imari Says:

I’m with you on that. Foily Japanese Counterspells = coolest thing ever.

  12. card_expert Says:

Looks like someone wants a multikicker elf.

An acquaintance of mine was able to sell a few Terra Eternal for $4 a piece, must be the Chinese bloodline.

  14. Cedi Says:

  15. Rêve Says:

This ones one of my faves.
*downloads for the 4th time* ¬_¬

  16. ME! Says:

    Call you weeaboo?
    But, aren’t you japanese?

  17. bluerogue Says:

Lol, I opened a jace and abyssal persecutor at one of the launch parties I attended XD, but a horrible sealed pool besides that DX

GL at the launch parties desu

  18. AznThundaGod Says:

    Worldwake was interesting.

Made sealed a lot “faster” as there’s just a ton more beef and a lot less solutions to the beef.

The 2/1 – 2/2′s that were good in Zendikar alone, don’t seem to be as effective in Worldwake sealed.

  19. Anon Says:

Pull any abyssal persecutors or jaces?

  20. Skribulous Says:

The only “good” looking Japanese Magic card is the black-bordered version of this card: http://magiccards.info/m10/jp/146.html

Everything else is just another card.

  21. Skribulous Says:

Er, I meant the 4th Edition version, which was black-bordered.

Other that that, they don’t really look that special, really.

  22. AznThundaGod Says:

Your love for Japanese Cards might just stem from the reason you to go the site. I mean we do go here for porn…but porn made by Japan :P

  23. mike Says:

black chinese cards tend to be edited if they have bones in the picture

  24. likewise Says:

As the resident Japanese Translator/ Magic Player, I think you are compelled to translate this for the rest of the world.

    Please and Thank You!

  25. desudesu Says:

    Anon: pulled a Jace =o

A bro pulled both a Jace and the demon in the same sealed pool tho. Even made a godly UB deck out of them two D:

  26. Skribulous Says:

    @likewise

    WTF?!?

That’s the highly anticipated Magic the Gathering manga (as seen here: http://goblin-nabob.livejournal.com/6457.html)? Fuck.

    (The cover is badass, though.)

  27. Anon of Cro Says:

God I wated so long for this to get trasnlated ;_; Thank you.

  28. Wandering Milkman Says:

    @Anon of Cro

..You do realize that doujin’s been translated for months upon months now, right?

  29. mike Says:

new jace is value at $60+ and rising sell them if you aren’t using blue

  30. That Guy Says:

    “pulled a jace”

    OMG.

My store opened “n” number of boxes to no avail for the Mind Sculptor. He’s a tricky fellow he is! Free brainstorm though.

    :D

  31. mike Says:

the other thing i have heard is that you can get packs with no rare or mythic rare

  32. Sanorith Says:

Yeah, the Terra Eternal thing was a joke. But the card is fucking hilarious.

Friend of mine though has bought one and a half boxes. No Jace. No demon.

  33. dizzle83 Says:

Ha! You laugh but I’d just been asking around if there was anything like Terra Eternal a few months ago. My friends and I play a lot of group games and land destruction can get old.

As to this manga, are there any other translated works by this mangaka?
