How do I request for a commission ?
Just drop me an email (desudesu2[at]gmail.com) detailing what you’d like to see translated. Just post the title for me to rapidsearch for, or even better, drop a rapidshare/megaupload/mediafire/any other upload service link, so that I can have a glance through it before promising you anything.
How much do you charge for a commission?
Roughly $1.50 per page translated and edited, depending on how much text there is on the page.
How long does it take to before I could get my translated stuffs?
Usually 2 days, for short commissions (ie: a typical H-doujin with 20~30 pages worth of stuffs to translate). I’ll reply with an email if there would be any delay with it, if I happened to be busy with my college work, which happens from time to time.
*update (24/9/09): I currently have a huge backlog to slug through, so please give me at least 2 weeks to get new stuff done. Will keep this page updated from time to time.
….and how do I pay you?
Here’s what happens when you commission something with me: I spend some time working on it after receiving and agreeing to do your request, and when I’m done, I’ll send you the last two pages of the translated work along with my paypal, and I’ll reply you with the whole translated work as soon as I received payment.
Feel free to point out any spelling/typo errors (I’m a mere human who makes mistakes, after all) or dialog lines that seemed odd to you, that you would like to see reworded. I usually keep .psd files of the stuffs I’ve worked on for a month for post-editing purposes.
*ps: I have no idea why, but I seem to get hundreds of spam everyday recently. So if I didn’t reply your email after 5~7 days, chances are your mail have been classified as spam by gmail for one reason or another, and got dumped in the spam folder, never to be seen by me forever. When that happens, please change the title of the email or something and resend the mail.

I’m pretty much into things that are acceptable in /h/ and /d/. I can even do scat, if you want.
Any genre is fine with me, unless it’s heavy guro (I could take it, if it only lasts a page or two) or mutant-freakshow (e.g: that sewer-mutant-insect-girl manga series).

At the moment the only thing I’ve decided is the budget; I’m still in the phase of choosing between candidates for translation, but I’ll surely have some work for you in the future; don’t worry, nothing from Horihone Saizo… ;)

It took me around 2 weeks to finish that, but it could’ve been finished much earlier if I wasn’t busy during that time (was doing 6 other commissions in parallel)

james99: Well it looks like you are using IE6 or 7? Unfortunately, the new versions of wp-supercache do not work properly with ie6 and sometimes not with ie7. We have not received any other complaints about this issue since first moving, so it is not an issue anymore. Why don’t you just get firefox like everyone else as that works fine.

I was wondering simply because I’m a big A-ta Kawaraya fan and there are still many works by that author left to translate. Several others have been translated though.
It’s also quite sad to see that Yomosue Club has (as far as I know) 0 translated works found on the internet. Makes my inner futacon sad.
Anyhow, I usually translate the H-Mangas I want, myself. Takes me a while, but I can get the job done (I have to doublecheck kanji all the time on a dictionary…).
